I am in Rome!
Oct. 26th, 2007 05:30 pmIt is warm, and rainy. We took the Eurostar from Ashford International to Paris Nord, had an afternoon in Paris, then took the Paris-Rome sleeper. It was bumpy. Colesseum, which had an interesting exhibition on Roman Theatre, and the Palazzo Bernini yesterday afternoon, then the Archaeological Museum this morning. During our trip to the archaeological museum, I put my arm around my little sister's shoulders and told her stories (some rude) about the various people who had statues there. I was also inspired. Anyone willing to take a look at a story about various women of the Julio-Claudian dynasty, containing, among other things, death, miscarriage, and the hi-jinks of Nero?
