The effortless meme (on my part, at least):

I know very little about some of the people on my friends list.

Some of you I know relatively well. Some I know very well; one or two of you I even know in RL.

Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you for your interest in my words.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself? It can be any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...they listen in rapture to the love-music of she-turnips." I might feel compelled to mock your musical taste, but I'll certainly remember you.

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal and see what gems of knowledge appear.

Language Savvy

You scored a 210 out of 400 on language knowledge.

Congratulations! You know your stuff! You've scored higher than most people would and you probably have taken a linguistics or cultural science class to boot. Most likely you are bilingual or even multilingual. You are also probably fascinated by languages and want to learn more of them in the future. When you travel to a foreign country, you make a point to learn some of the language instead of imposing your own. It's people like you who help promote the exchange of languages worldwide. Keep it up!

Which of Henry VIII's wives are you?

this quiz was made by Lori Fury

Congratulations! You are Anne Boleyn!

Anne Boleyn was Henry's second wife. Henry tore the world apart to marry Anne, but few could figure out why: she wasn't beautiful, she wasn't rich, and she hardly had a drop of noble blood. She was also black-haired and thin in an age when plump blondes without eyebrows were the height of beauty.
Anne Boleyn was a woman who turned the world upside down. She was outspoken, intelligent and neurotic. She ended up on the block when Henry tired of her, but for six years, Anne Boleyn brought England to it's knees.
